Using slideshows
Sometimes, you might want to place multiple images into a single slideshow box, rather than resorting to placing them next to each other in your page layout. pagestrip got you covered and offers excellent support for slideshows.
You can create a new slideshow either by placing one on the stage via the toolbar button or by importing images.
A slideshow works very much like an image box, only that it can hold multiple images simultaneously, which will be displayed to the user automatically or interactively.
Note that if you show a slideshow’s captions, you can specify a separate caption text for each image: pagestrip will automatically replace the displayed caption as the visible image changes.
There are plenty of ways to customize a slideshow.
You can mask and configure each image in the slideshow in a similar fashion to regular image boxes.
Additionaly, you can decide whether or not to show paging indicator dots for your slideshow by setting Show Indicator Dots in the inspector.
If you want your slideshow to advance automatically after a set amount of time, use the Autoplay feature and specify a time interval. If the slideshow reaches the end of the image list, it will automatically loop back to the first image.
Note that Autoplay will automatically be paused if the user is currently interacting manually with the slideshow.
