Manual Guidelines

Sometimes it is helpful to define your own guidelines while layouting content.

To do so, make sure that the rulers are shown, then drag from either the horizontal or vertical ruler to create a manual guideline. While dragging a guideline, the current position will be highlighted on the corresponding ruler.

Content elements will snap to manual guidelines just like they would to any other grid. This is a useful property to quickly layout elements according to your own specifications.

Manual guides are always associated with page you create them on. Thus, if you copy and paste a page, all its manual guides will be copied as well.

Similarly, if you save a page as a template, all its manual guides will be retained.
