Navigating your publication
On the left side of a document’s main window, you find a source view with which you can navigate through your publication. If you have used Apple software such as Keynote or Pages before, you will already be quite familiar with this concept.
Note that the source list is only available if you are currently in “layout” mode.
When you select an item in the source list, it will be displayed on the main stage, where you can edit and customize it. Some items, such as stories, can also be collapsed or expanded by clicking them – This can be useful if you want to focus on a single story in a larger publication, or if you want to reorder your stories. pagestrip will also try to remember which stories you had expanded when you open a file.
You can right-click or use the “+” button at the bottom of the list in order to add new items to your publication.
The order of items can also be changed simply by dragging an item and dropping it in another place. You can reorder pages or stories this way, and even move pages between different stories.
Additionally, you can use copy and paste to duplicate items in the source list. This also works between different documents, so you can easily move pages or stories between your publications.
