Creating and managing stories

On the left side of your pagestrip editor, the navigation bar, you can create and manage stories. In our Getting Started section you’ll find additional info about navigating your publication.

Before we dive into creating and managing stories, let us explain the difference between stories and pages. Think of a story as a chapter where you write about your travels, for example. Each story has to contain at least one page – there are no page limits!

To add a story or a page you can either right click or use the “+” button at the bottom of the list.

Add a story or a page Click here to add a story or a page.

If you have selected a story or a page, the new item adds itself underneath. If you take the screenshot example above, the new page will be added underneath the black page.

If you want to remove a story or a page you can either right click or click the “Delete” button on your keyboard. If you’re familiar with presentation softwares like Apple Keynote you will get used to this handling quickly.

To change the order of a story or a page you just have to drag the item and move it up or downwards. A blue line will appear that shows you where the item will be positioned – Drop the item there.

The red page will switch positions and get in line after the black page.
