Using the inspector

The inspector is your central interface to style and manipulate your content elements. pagestrip’s inspector is context-sensitive, so you will only see those tools there that are applicable to your current selection.

Occasionally, the inspector will be divided into multiple tabs with different settings. You can click a tab to switch the visible inspector toolset.

The Inspector Click here to switch between inspector tabs. In most configurations, the preview area gives you an overview of the current selection. The inspector tabs are organized into functional groups, depending on your current selection. Some fields have special controls to make them easier to work with. Inspector areas can also be collapsed to hide them, and expanded when needed again.

Before you start working with pagestrip, it is advisable to familiarize yourself with the different settings that each content element supports. Be aware that you can undo any change, so it is fine to play around for a bit.

If you select multiple content elements, you are able to change them all at once. However, if multiple selected content elements have different values for the same setting, the inspector will not show these values individually. You can still change them all at once to a common, shared value, though.
