pagestrip Help

Overview

pagestrip is the premiere way to craft unique digital publications that look and feel fantastic on all devices and browsers. Start with one of our templates or design entirely from scratch – each and every story can be a one-of-a-kind experience.

When you launch the pagestrip editor for the first time, it will ask you to log into your pagestrip.com account. You can always sign up for a free account if you don’t have one: It’s easy to do, and you can also register directly via Facebook or Twitter.

The main editor window should feel quite familiar if you have used softwares such as Apple’s Pages or Keynote before. In the left panel, you can navigate between the different pages of your layouted publication, as well as re-order, create and delete stories or pages.

The document area displays your currently selected page: You can click onto objects to select them.

The inspector area to the right contains your tools: It will change depending on which kind of object you have selected, only offering those tools that apply to your selection. Some toolsets are also collapsible, so that you can hide tools that you are rarely ever using.

Login Screen Switch between your layouts and the smartphone-optimized flow view. Upload and publish your story into your timeline at pagestrip.com. Navigate through your publication and create new stories or pages. Use the inspector to format and customize the elements of your stories.

You can upload to your pagestrip.com account directly from the editor’s toolbar. Additionally, check out your online cockpit, where you can manage your stories and even group them together into collections.

The pagestrip editor offers a rich set of tools to make your workflow even easier. You can import media data directly into a publication’s asset manager to keep it handy, browse our rich set of templates to mix and match however you like, and even create and save your very own templates.
